Sarandis Kalogeropoulos
SR Manager Sales/Business Development - Precise Biometrics

Sarandis Kalogeropoulos has many years of experience working internationally in tech companies with a focus on consumer products including senior roles at Ericsson, Sony Ericsson and Sony Mobile Communications. Prior to joining Precise Biometrics he was the co-founder of the Swedish start up Anima and the hybrid watch brand Kronaby.

Sarandis joined Precise Biometrics as Director Sales/Business Development in 2019 and is responsible for driving Precise YOUNiQ, part of the company’s new business area, DIGITAL IDENTITY.

Björn Jonson
Professor Emeritus Clinical Physiology Lund University

Björn Jonson was born on April 12, 1940 in Malmö where he graduated 1959. The same year Björn started his studies in medicine in Lund. The following year Björn lost his parents. In 1961 Björn joined Georg Kahlson at the Department of Physiology. He switched to clinical physiology in 1962 when the discipline was introduced at the University Hospital under Håkan Westling. Håkan gave Björn the task to develop lung physiological diagnostics and sent Björn in 1963 to the United States where he developed new techniques for this. Håkan also introduced Björn to Associate Professor Sven Ingelstedt at the ENT department where he continued his studies of airway physiology, from the middle ear to the lung. Sven had the idea that ventilators should be flow controlled. For that purpose Björn developed a gas flow regulator and constructed and patented the first flow-controlled ventilator in 1967. After further development together with Siemens, the ServoVentilator was marketed in 1971.

Björn Jonson succeeded Håkan Westling as professor in clinical physiology 1980. Focus in Björns still continuing research is on clinical respiratory physiology particularly mechanical ventilation and intensive care.

Cathrin Jung
Communications Manager - Cross Technology Solutions

Cathrin is one of the key persons behind the successful start-up and innovation company Cross Technology Solutions. She is enthusiastic as a person and puts her heart and soul in her commitments. She is part of the warm, creative, authentic, and fast-growing team developing the eHealth platform LifePod.

Cathrin is a curious, open-minded, and a genuinely interested person. Master-studies in Berlin, work and language stays in several countries express her interest to learn and her energy and drive force. During a language stay in Italy she crossed the road with a Scanian which made her emigrate to Sweden fifteen years ago.

She has been engaged in different working areas like language lecturer, tourism, journalism, guiding and helping companies at a municipality, entrepreneurship, and the last six years, she has been deeply involved in the growth and success of Cross Technology Solutions.

Iris Bjerkén
Founder - SunFeeds

Elsa and Iris are both working 200%; 100% as students at Lunds University and 100% as founders of their startup SunFeeds; a new food product and approach to tackling hunger in a sustainable way. SunFeeds was created during their last year in high school as the result of two things; their shared interest in the solvable hunger situation and the understanding of the need for new innovative but simple solutions in the food tech area in order to reach Zero Hunger. Through their work with SunFeeds, they have truly understood the importance of an innovative inclusive business model; making sure that the solution is not just an exporting aid project but becomes a longterm, sustainable measure.

Fredrik Andersson
Global Product Manager for Body Worn Solutions - Axis Communications

Fredrik Andersson is the global product manager for body worn solutions for Axis Communications. In this role he builds the portfolio of all the hardware and software products that are included in the body worn solutions. He works closely with corporate research & development, business development and sales organizations to ensure that we have the right products, with the right features, at the right time and the right price.

Mr. Andersson joined Axis in 2012 as project manager in the Video Encoders & Decoders team, which in later years became known as Encoders and New Opportunities. His project teams were responsible for developing products such as Q7920, P7216, P390x, F21 & F1004, Q1659 and P3807. In 2018 Mr. Andersson joined the newly started New Solutions Initiative team as Global Product Manager with responsibility to manage the body worn solutions.

Mr. Andersson has a broad engineering background and have studied Master of Science in Engineering Physics at Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, Sweden.

Karin Ebbinghaus
CEO - Elonroad

Karin Ebbinghaus is the CEO of Elonroad AB. Elonroad is a charging infrastructure for all types of electric vehicles. It’s both an electric road for charging while driving and an automated park charger without the cables. It works in cities, highways, industries, parking spaces, loading terminals and taxi lines. Elonroad’s technology will significantly reduce the carbon footprint of transportation as well as digitalize our roads. Karin Ebbinghaus has a masters of law from Lund University and has worked with M&A cross border transactions for more than 15 years. After an executive MBA from Stockholm School of Economics in 2015, Karin has focused on investments in cleantech startups with focus to reduce CO2.

Sven Mattisson
Senior Expert, Ericsson Research

Sven Mattisson received his PhD in Applied Micro Electronics from Lund University in 1986. In 1995 he joined Ericsson Research in Lund where he holds a position as senior expert in analog system design and since 1996, he is also an adjunct professor at Lund University. Dr. Mattisson is a co-inventor of Bluetooth and has been serving as technical program committee member for the International Solid-State Circuits Conference. Presently he is working on 5G radio circuits.

Sarah Emond
CEO - UNOPS GIC Sweden

Sarah is leading the UNOPS Global Innovation Centre in Sweden with the mission to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by solving the real-world challenges with impactful innovation and collaboration. She is a strategic doer, passionate about people, creativity and authenticity. Sarah has previously worked at Tetra Pak, where she developed global capabilities to grow the service business and managed customer innovation centres all over the world. She has built her entrepreneurial skills in the family business Kronosept and has a master of science degree from Lund University. Sarah is a maximiser, PowerPoint wizard and hobby gardener with a positive spirit.

Zlatko Rihter
CEO - CellaVision

Zlatko Rihter is the Malmö-guy who ended up working in Lund. His heart beats strongly for MFF and medical technology and he has more than 20 years of experience in the medical technology industry with a career starting at Gambro, nowadays Baxter, many years ago. Over the years he has held senior positions in marketing, business development, sales and R&D in a number of successful medical technology companies. In addition, he has a passionate interest in medical technology, innovation and entrepreneurship and Zlatko is a master at building teams, setting goals and working hard to achieve what he wants.

Since 2015, Zlatko has been President and CEO of CellaVision AB, headquartered in Lund.

Jonatan Persson
CEO & Founder - Helios Innovations

Jonatan Persson is the founder & CEO of Helios Innovations and was last year selected as one of Sweden's 101 supertalents by VA. When Jonatan was 16 years old he developed a new desalination method that can use industrial waste heat to clean saltwater. With this method factories can become self-sustaining and save water for us humans to enjoy, when at the same time reduce their water expenses. Ever since 2016 Jinatan has been working to fulfill his dream about saving the world and provide clean water for everyone. He is now constructing a full-scale pilot facility that will be able to clean 50.000 liters of water everyday. Apart from saving the world Jonatan loves to hike in mountain ranges and ice bathing.

Rebecca Pryce
Moderator & Innovation Specialist

Rebecca is an Innovation Specialist at UNOPS Global Innovation Centre Sweden, a centre supporting the growth of innovation that can help meet the Sustainable Development Goals. Previously, Rebecca worked at Invest in Skåne as a business developer. Before moving to Sweden Rebecca had a number of roles within the British Government, including working with trade ministers and heading up a strategy team developing trade programmes within the development sector. Rebecca has a masters degree from the University of St.Andrews.

Alexander Montell
Digital Sales Manager, Sony Network Communications Europe

Alexander is a Digital Sales Manager at Sony in Lund, Sweden, inspiring both employees, partners and clients to become digital evangelists and utilize the advantages of technology. Alexander will share insights on the Sony Network Communications Europe journey to provide intelligent, connected solutions that are easy to install, use and maintain. In his session, Alexander will dive into the future of healthcare – accessible today for hospitals and companies around the world.

Before joining Sony in 2019 Alexander was part of a successful startup company. He has broad experience working with digital change management. Alexander is passionate about people and technology especially when these two come together to make real difference.

Ola Möllerström
CMO - Sigma Connectivity

With 20 years of experience within the mobile technology industry, Ola is now the CMO and Deputy CEO of Sigma Connectivity. Ola joined Sigma Connectivity as Head of Sales & Marketing in December 2014, and stepped up as CMO & Deputy CEO in the beginning of 2017. Before joining the organization, Ola spent several years working with Portfolio & Product Planning at Sony Mobile and Sony Ericsson. In this position, he got to be part of the smartphone revolution. Ola has big visions for the future and look forward to take part of another revolution; an revolution Sigma Connectivity will have a key part in.

Björn Lundqvist
CEO - Sigma Connectivity

Björn Lundqvist has been with Sigma Connectivity since it was founded in 2013. He first held the position as COO until spring 2017 when he stepped up as CEO. Björn has a long history with the consumer electronics industry and has held various management positions at Sony Mobile as well as Sony Ericsson. At Sigma Connectivity, Björn had a key role in its foundation and was one of the driving forces behind the decision to transform 30 years of experience into developing innovative consumer products and IoT services for some of the biggest names in the industry.
